Playing Etiquette
PACE OF PLAY
Your place in the field is immediately behind the group in front of you, not in front of the group behind you..
- Allow faster players/groups to play through
- Avoid unnecessary delays – Average time for 18 holes should be around 4 hours
- No player should play until the players in front are out of range
- In the interest of all, players should walk briskly between shots and play with delay
- When the result of the hole has been determined, players should leave the green, and proceed to the next tee & first on the tee should hit off prior to marking your card
COURSE CARE/RULES
- Please replace divots, use sand buckets, repair pitch marks
- On completion of the hole, repair spike marks and rake bunkers
- Keep carts and trundlers away from tees and greens
- Players are not to play the green while the flag is out, indicating that play is in progress or green staff are working on the green
- Green staff have right of way
- Complaints - All complaints or criticisms should be addressed to the Board in writing
CHILDREN
- All children must be supervised at all times until such time as the junior convenor deems it appropriate for them to play unaccompanied
GOLF CARTS
- All drivers must be 18 years or over
- Correct operation is the responsibility of the hirer
- Operation is at hirers risk
- Any damage to equipment or course will be the responsibility of the hirer
- Carts are for use on the golf course only
- Carts must not be driven within 3 meters of green, bunkers or teeing grounds
- No more than 2 persons and 2 bags may be in the cart at any one time
- Failure to obey the rules will preclude further use

Out of Bounds
- Over all course boundary fences
- Past white pegs eg. Clubhouse area
Immovable Obstructions
- Tee signs, distance marker pegs
- Buildings eg. Pump Shed
- Greens watering system
- Ponga wall immediately behind 18th green
Note: Marker pegs are to the centre of green – Blue 180m, White 135m, Red 90m
