Kearns crowned Northland men’s championSheldon Kearns (Waipu) emerged as the 2013 Northland men’s Champion of Champions following a day of competition that saw a dramatic finish to the senior division at Northland Golf Club. Dion Hall (Waipu) made it a double celebration for Waipu by finishing one ahead of Mark Ellison (Whangaroa) and Wayne Gravatt (Wellsford) in the intermediate division. read more...
   Waipu Pair from NZ Win 2013 Best Ball! Waipu golfers Craig Duffus and Ian Kitchen are the Best Ball Champions for 2013! 40 Golf clubs, 2500 golfers across Australia and New Zealand contested the 2013 Best Ball Challenge Final for 2013. Club winning pairs automatically qualified into the National Best Ball Challenge Final, which this year was held in Auckland, New Zealand October 20-23. Winning club pairs won 3 night’s hotel accommodation, welcome and prize giving dinner, golfer transfers and 2 rounds of championship golf at Lakes Resort, Pauanui and Formosa Resort, Auckland. The winning pair won golf product plus a Golf Holiday, along with the runners up, 50 golfers won the lucky prize draw. Next year its Golf and wine in the Hunter Valley NSW early November 2014. Accommodated and hosted by Cypress Lakes Resort, 2 rounds of championship golf at Cypress and the Vintage Golf Resort.
